Hi I'm Chelsea, it's so nice to meet you!

Designing Human-Centered AI Experiences That Make a Difference

I design responsible, human-centered experiences in an AI-driven world. Based in Vancouver, I bring together psychology, interaction design, and systems thinking to create thoughtful digital products that solve complex problems and scale innovation.

With a B.Sc. in Psychology from Queen’s University and a B.Des. in Interaction Design from Emily Carr, I specialize in bridging user needs with emerging technologies, especially AI, while staying grounded in ethics, inclusivity, and impact.

Selected Work and Focus Areas

AI & Health Tech: As a UX Designer at the Provincial Health Services Authority (PHSA), I helped transform BC’s vaccine booking system through research, co-design workshops, and iterative testing.

Design Systems: I contributed to cross-org design systems that scale consistent, accessible experiences.

Service Design for Careers in Health: I restructured the BC Health Careers website to support international job seekers and streamline user journeys.

Dementia & Elder Care: I co-designed apps and care models with Emily Carr’s Health Design Lab, including WhatMatters and Who Cares?, focused on aging, memory, and meaningful engagement.

Beyond Design

I’m endlessly curious, always learning, and energized by new ideas, perspectives, and possibilities. When I’m not designing, you’ll find me reading manga, exploring bookstores, or traveling to experience culture through food, art, and local stories.
